1. FAMILYGET TOGETHER
Senior Youth Forum organized a family get-together at Titwala School premises on 14th October, 2018, 3pm onwards. Around 75 members
participated in the programme. Our Vicar Rev. Binoy J. Thomas initiated
the programme with a debate on the current issue ‘Women entering the
Sabarimala Temple’. Thereafter fun-filled sports and games were also
conducted. The programme was concluded with a delicious dinner.
2. MEDICAL CAMPAT PADGAON
Mar Thoma Senior Youth Forum organized a Free Medical camp at
Padgaon Mission field in association with Edavaka Mission with the help
of Fortis Hospital, Kalyan. This camp benefited more than 150 villagers
from Padgaon. Rev. Binoy J. Thomas and Rev. Allen T. Samuel jointly
inaugurated the programme.
3. CHRISTMAS VILAMBHARAM 2018
For the Fourth year in succession, house-to-house carol singing, specially
meant for our elderly and sick members of our church, was conducted on
nd th 2 December and 9 December, 2018. This year, SYF members with the
leadership of the vicar Rev. Binoy J. Thomas visited around 50 families.
Christmas gifts were handed over to them, and were also prayed upon for
their well-being.
4. DHANYARTH 2018:
This year Senior Youth Forum celebrated Christmas with children of
Navodaya Movement, Kalyan on Tuesday, 25th Dec. 2018 at 5pm at Mar
Thoma Syrian Church -Parish hall. The chief guest for the event was Prof.
G.N. Sreekumar – Head IDC Design School, IIT Bombay. More than 80
children and their parents also attended the programme.
